Watch and download this new UMCOR overview video and use it for UMCOR Sunday. New GBHEM Scholarship Honors and Continues Rev. Roger Hopson’s Legacy Read this story about the UMC General Board of Higher Education and Ministry’s (GBHEM) new seminary scholarship dedicated to celebrating and continuing the legacy of Rev. Roger A. Hopson. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is March 30. Disaster Case Manager Position Open | TWK Disaster Recovery Connection The TWK Disaster Recovery Connection has an open position for a Disaster Case Manager. The Disaster Case Manager works with persons and families recovering from disasters. The deadline to apply is TOMORROW. Learn more and apply. Spiritual Director/Clergy Coach Directory Are you a certified Spiritual Director or Clergy Coach? Our conference is developing a directory of Spiritual Directors and Clergy Coaches. TWK Leadership Recommendations As we seek to develop a pool of leaders for the 2023 TWK Nominations process, the conference nominations team invites you to prayerfully consider leaders you would recommend to serve (including yourself!). ENCORE Ministry Executive Director Application Deadline April 30 Kent McNish, founding Executive Director of ENCORE Ministry, will retire December 31, 2023. To apply for the Executive Director's position, visit this link. The application deadline is April 30. Beersheba Springs Assembly Announces New Hospitality Director Beersheba Springs Assembly has hired C. Travis Johnson as its new hospitality director. Read more! The Village at Glencliff featured in Duke Divinity publication Read this story about how Glencliff UMC is sharing its property and ministry with the tiny home community, The Village at Glencliff, which offers medical respite for unhoused folks in Nashville. Sager Brown Mission Teams Scheduled for May 2023 and January 2024 Historic UMCOR Sager Brown is a fully evolved United Methodist mission station where almost anyone of any age or ability level can contribute directly to the worldwide mission work of the church. Sager Brown is the UMCOR Depot out of which 4-5 million dollars worth of donated relief supplies are shipped each year. Mission team members work in the depot checking and packing various kits and flood buckets. TWK Annual Conference 2023 Renasant Convention Center in Memphis June 19 - 21, 2023

SUBMISSIONS: Please visit the annual conference webpage: twkumc.org/AC2023 to find submission guidelines and deadlines for reports and resolutions as well as exhibitor opportunities. ORDINATION: We have new information regarding vesting for the Service of Licensing, Commissioning, and Ordination at this year's annual conference session. MEAL SPONSORS: Please also note that a meal sponsorship request form is now available for groups that would like to host a lunch or dinner during the annual conference. HOTEL: Hotel reservation information SINGERS NEEDED: Singers from churches and ministries are invited to join the TWK Mass Choir. We will provide music for the Annual Conference worship services. The goal is 100+ voices and ALL are welcome. Information about musical selections and rehearsals will be shared in the coming weeks. Encourage People to Stay Connected with The Vine Some United Methodists in our conference are feeling less comfortable in their home churches and may have even stopped attending. We are forming new spaces of relationship for seekers and those displaced by the loss of a local congregation. The Vine is a sacred space for them to connect with a community of faith right now.
