Renfro Trust Fund Grants Available
The Renfro Trust Fund awards annual "bricks-and-mortar" grants to small rural United Methodist congregations in the Southeastern Jurisdiction. Applications can be found here and should be submitted to the TWKUMC Global Ministries Team (renfro.grant@twkumc.org) by August 1 for consideration and final signature needed.
ENCORE Ministry Grant Application Deadline

Middle Tennessee State University's Jennings A. Jones College of Business is hosting a seminar, "Rethinking Church Leadership: Executive Leadership Training for the Post-Pandemic Environment," on August 4. How disaffiliation can affect pensions
The church agency that handles pensions is offering a video explaining how pension plan funding can be affected when churches choose to disaffiliate from the denomination. The video, also available as a podcast, answers questions such as whether clergy pension plans are fully funded and why a disaffiliating church is required to make a payment to the conference it is leaving.
