Great God Almighty,
Thank You for the glory of Your Presence that fills this place with your holiness. Sometimes we can’t preach or sing because Your glory so fills the temples of our worship space that we have to bow down in our spirits because of Your Presence!
Thank You for hearing each prayer that is uttered from our lips and silently whispered from our hearts.
Thank You for forgiving us time and time again when our sins are willful and rebellious and when they are from anxiety and fear.
Come Holy Spirit and cleanse us from everything impure and any untoward actions that separate us from You.
Lord Jesus, for all the grief we are experiencing through the earthquake and flooding with massive loss of life in Haiti, help us. For all those who care for us day and night and night after night in hospitals where days off are a commodity coveted, strengthen us. Grant all healthcare providers relief and rest and good health.
For all those fleeing for safety and for their lives in war torn homelands,
provide a way out.
Be with those who are struggling on life support and the families who can’t be at the bedside to say goodbye.
Hear our prayers, calm our fears and soothe our aching hearts.
Fill this place with so much of You that all we can do is worship!
We love You Jesus and thank you for your plenteous grace. Amen.
