Prayer from Dr. Cynthia Davis 4/23/21

Writer's picture: Ken SmithKen Smith

Lord Jesus Christ, the only Begotten Son of God who is Light from Light and true God from true God, the one who is begotten and not made who is in heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father who will come again in glory, it is Your Name that we lift this day in praise and adoration.

Lord, for some of us, it’s been a tough week. A week of anxiety, anger and fear; a week of tears, of joy and relief; a week of making decisions that will impact us a lifetime and living into decisions made for us.

This has been a week of doctor visits, tests, results and surgeries, births and even death. Lord, it’s been a week.

No matter what has come our way, we know you are a Way-Maker. Whatever obstacles we have encountered, You have seen us through and given us the strength for another day’s journey.

Come, Lord Jesus through the power of your Holy Spirit and sup with us at the table of fellowship and grace as we proclaim your healing, deliverance, goodness and love. It is in Your name that we pray. Amen!
