At this time, the staff of the MS River District continues to work remotely with limited "in-office" hours or by appointment. For assistance, you may contact either Dr. Cynthia Davis at 901-270-5358 or msriverds19@gmail.com or Mrs. Vicki Dunagan at 731-694-4654 or msriveradmassistant@gmail.com. Also, for convenience, a drop box has been installed on the outside wall of our office building.

A Prayer for the MS River District Clergy and Laity God of our mothers and fathers who helped them to raise us and teach us right from wrong. God of our grandparents who loved us unconditionally and spoiled us with utter abandon. God of our neighbors and friends who watch out for them when we get to busy and overwhelmed to remember them in prayer. God of our hopes, our fears, our disappointments, frustrations and joy. The God who has never left us and points us to the hills from where our help comes from. God of our tiredness and sickness. God of our diseases and illnesses and surgeries and tests. God of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself that we might be totally and completely healed of all things that bind us. Holy Spirit come and dwell with us. Fill us. Help us. Touch us. In the mighty awesome name of the One who rose from the dead with all power in his hands, Jesus the Christ. Amen. Dr. Cynthia D. Davis Mississippi River District Superintendent P. O. Pick Up Date Set for MS River District Donations Please bring your Cleaning and/or Tornado Buckets to the District office on Tuesday, March 30th from 9:00 a.m. - Noon. Rev. Brian Stahl will be there to receive your donations. If you need to make other arrangements to deliver to the office, please contact us at 731-696-4117 or 731-694-4654 (cell). Here is a copy of the note sent back in October 2020 from our District Disaster Response Coordinator, Rev. Brian Stahl. We know several churches are working on this challenge and wanted to remind you of the March 27th target date and March 30th delivery date. I would like to challenge the churches of the MS River District to fill our Disaster Trailer with Cleaning & Tornado Buckets! The target date for this is March 27, 2021. Details for collection of the buckets will be worked out closer to that date. I wanted to get this out so you have time to organize your response and to make your response easier. With plenty of lead time it shouldn't be difficult to get the needed supplies without rushing around to get them in a short amount of time. I do have a limited amount of buckets for each type that has been given to me by the warehouse that I will be willing to bring to churches till they are gone. Please contact me if you need buckets! Again, thank you! UMCOR Cleaning Kit UMCOR Tornado Bucket God Bless all of You, Brian Stahl MS River Disaster Response Coordinator brobrian2015@gmail.com 731-592-8746
